<----RGB is not a defined color space, it is a color category and an additive color model. There are many RGB color spaces including the most popular... Adobe RGB (1998) and sRGB. Colors specified in RGB values in one space don't match the same RGB values in another space. And each creates it's own color in CMYK values. For this reason alone, the specification of an RGB color value without specifying which RGB color space the value is measured in is insufficient information from which to convey accurate color.
<----In order to maintain true color management in a file, all elements in that file should be in the same RGB color space. If the images placed in a file are not in the same color space as the file itself, color integrity will be compromised.
